As a Writer/Producer for the multiplatform, multi-network e-retailer QVC, Chris Mich has written, directed and produced video productions across the United States (in 25 states, to be exact) and Italy. His QVC videos have been honored with awards in both the oldest Independent Film & Video festival in the world, Houston-Worldfest, and the Telly Awards which honors excellence in video and television across all screens. His independent films have been honored with screenings and awards at many film festivals including Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema, Berlin International Film Festival, ESPN’s EXPN Film Festival and The Official Star Wars Fan Film Festival. A member of TCM Backlot, the Turner Classic Movies fan club, Chris appeared on TCM as a Guest Programmer to discuss his love of classic cinema, his own blog Digging Star Wars and why he likes the 1938 film Test Pilot (hint: it has to do with Star Wars). A life-long sci-fi fan, Chris is thrilled and honored that his article "Loving the Alien, Hating the Hybrid: A Cultural Study of Robotech" was published in the MOSF Journal of Science Fiction - Volume 2, Issue 1. Chris has served as Head Judge of the Escape Velocity Film Festival since 2017.
