This panel will explore texts which deconstruct the essentialist myth of "The Eternal Feminine" archetype within science and speculative fiction literatures. Panelists will discuss alternate representations of "female" power and agency, and discuss the ways in which non-traditional gender identities are helping to dismantle such views.
