50 years ago, humans got their first look at the Earth from another body in space. Apollo 8, in orbit around the moon, took a stunning image of the Earth rising above the lunar horizon. Since then, we have explored all the planets in our solar system, up close (including Pluto!) and many smaller bodies (comets and asteroids). The images and other data from these historic observations have completely revolutionized how we see the solar system, the universe and our place in it. As we begin the next 50 years of planetary exploration, what new discoveries will reshape our view of the cosmos? Come hear NASA scientists discuss the last 50 years of discovery and get a sneak peak at a look into the future.
