Timothy J. Logue is a lifelong science fiction fan who has been fortunate to work in thespace and satellite sectors for almost 40 years. He is currently Senior Director, Sales and Business Development, for Thales Alenia Space, a major European space manufacturer, in Washington, D.C. He began his career as a policy analyst with the original Communications Satellite Corporation. He then spent 20 years as a consultant andadvisor with law firms serving the field and for the last 12 working for satellitemanufacturing companies. He has been active in the leadership of a number of industry-related organizations, including as Treasurer of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation since 1996, and in leadership positions with the Pacific Telecommunication Council since the 1980s. He is also a past president of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Satellite Professionals International.
